Returns Policy

The Australian Consumer Law protects consumers by giving them certain guaranteed rights when they buy goods and services. For example, the Law requires that goods must be free of defects, and do what they are meant to do. Services must be carried out with care and skill. These rights, which the Law says automatically apply whenever goods or services are supplied to a consumer, are called ‘Consumer Guarantees’.

Under the Law, these Consumer Guarantees cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of “acceptable quality” and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Consumer Guarantees have no set time limit but generally last for an amount of time that is reasonable to expect given factors including the cost and quality of the product or any representations made.

Advice for returning items.
When returning items, we advise the following:

Return items in the original packaging, where the original packaging is not present protect the item in such a way that it is protected during transit. Any damages that occur during transit will be the responsibility of the customer.

Any damages sustained during transit will not be covered. We also recommend taking transit insurance and signature on delivery on your item when returning it to our service facility. This is usually done when posting the item. Any loss during transit to our facility will be the responsibility of the sender/customer.

Change of mind
We are not obliged to refund an item or training booked for a change of mind regarding the purchase. If the item is in the original packaging with security seals intact we may accept the item to be returned. All change of mind returns will attract a 25% re-stocking fee.

In the case of training, no refunds will be given, but the date of training can be changed up to 7 days prior to the course date without additional charges.
