CASA Initial Remote Pilot Drone Licence Online RePL Multi Rotor and Powered Lift Sub 25kg drone licence training including Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate and English Language Proficiency.

The major benefit of flying drones for photography, cinematography, Photogrammetry and LIDAR is to use Automated Flight Management Systems (AFMS). We cover AFMS in detail on our drone licence courses.

We provide all drones and drone training material for both the initial and upgrade RePL across these categories and weight classes.

Our RePL Sub 25kg drone training courses have a number of advantages, including:

• Practical training includes tethered operations and waypoint planning/missions.

Theoretical Knowledge Component:

Online Webinars: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

• Online interactive drone training webinars are conducted via Zoom
• Theory components are delivered from 8:00am to 5:00 pm (AEST) each day, with tea/lunch breaks throughout the day
• Course content is delivered in an ‘interactive classroom’ style with open discussion between instructor and student at all times
• Prior to the course, all participants are given access to a training package containing all materials required for these theory components (e.g. textbook).

Closeout Component:

Face to face drone training closeouts are typically conducted on Thursday and Friday, or Monday and Tuesday of the week following the theoretical knowledge sessions.

• RePL theory and AROC assessments are conducted on day 1 of the face-to-face sessions
• Practical theory and operational training and assessment for multi-rotor are conducted on day 2 of the face-to-face sessions. The practical training is weather dependant
• The free upgrade will add an additional prectical day to the overall course

You will have access to our digital textbook before, during and after your drone training course completion, including any updates as new Regulations become effective. There is an option to order a printed textbook on enrolment.

The online webinars for RePL and half-day webinars for upgrades run every 3 weeks(2 days of webinars for sub 7kg and 3 days of webinars for sub 25kg) and include AROC and ELP. Face to Face closeout dates are arranged Australia wide per course venue at time of booking.
