BVLOS OCTA Course

There is a new simpler exam and standards for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS OCTA) operations outside of controlled airspace, negating the need to hold the IREX for these operations.

Adding this qualification to your RePL and AROC greatly improves your marketability in the drone world compared to the base line RePL pilot.

In addition to the drone specific exam, CASA has developed the BVLOS OCTA  aeronautical knowledge standards. This has enabled us to develop appropriate course material in preparation for remote pilots taking the exam.

Our half day course builds on your RePL theory to cover all aspects of the BVLOS OCTA requirements.
